Video of 1:1 test
The video
shows how the light is being projected down in my entrance and how the space is
changing in my kitchen during a day with daylight.
In my
entrance I keep a focus on the light source on my door, which is being re-in
forced by the reflecting fabrics.
My focus in
the video with my kitchen area and living room is the precise need of heat in
each space according to the bodily activity.
The
architecture in my apartment should be structured around the precise need for
heat in each space, but also the bodily activity is to be considered.
The interior
temperature should be adapted to the activity and occupants.
Depending
on or physical activities and the thickness of our clothes we wear, the
temperature of a room, doesn’t have to be at the same level, everywhere in
every area in the apartment.
If you are
dressed up and physic active, you could have a lower temperature in the
entrance and kitchen.
The
dinning/living room should be heated up because here you are dressed up, but
without moving or any physical activities.
The aim is
to restore diversity to the relation, that the body maintains with space, with
its temperature to allow daily, seasonal movement within the apartment.
That is why
the curtains should be movable and changeable according to daylight during the
year.
The
apartment will then become like a thermal multiple room, with different
altitude of temperatures, where the inhabitant could freely wander inside
around and experience the different temporally spaces with the differently
temperature.
1:1 test of curtain system
The 1:1
test of my curtain system took place in my own apartment.
By simple
means of hooks, I used wires to tie up my curtains.
The white
transparent fabric gives the expression of a ‘’white room’’.
The picture
shows the changing space in my kitchen/dinning area.
The picture

The picture

The picture

spaces.
